Myself and my boyfriend stayed for 1 night whilst attending Sundown festival at the Norfolk Showground. £85 for a double room including breakfast. Good selection of breakfast, juices, cereals, yougurt, fruit and menu with cooked breakfast & toast etc. Very spacious room, large double bed was more of a King/Queen than a double! Very clean and equipped with tea/coffee & kettle. Also there was an iron with board in the lobby which was handy for guests. Free on-site parking and access to the Club's facilities including swimming & gym with use of towels. Would definitely stay again.

Liked: The staff would do anything to please us. The golf and pool facilities were lovely and the food and drink were reasonably priced.
Disliked: Some areas could use a bit of updating and the poached eggs were a bit hard.

Liked: The spa, with the heated pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna was excellent! The restaurant served good food too.
Disliked: The rooms were a bit basic, with some wear and tear damage and the heating did not work properly.

Liked: Location and price, but got it cheap due to program joined with.
Disliked: Stayed two nights. Evening meal for the price compared to the same I can get at my local Greene king was sub par. Staff didn't look like they wanted to be there. Went to local pub for 2nd night meal, was great. Double bed was 2 singles pushed together, could not sleep in the centre, terrible. Room was not cleaned during the day. Shower pressure good, as for hot...................Coffee and milk not refilled. Premises needs a touch up. Dinning room dated and not welcoming.

Great location, food and facilities

Liked: Facilities were great. Great location and the use of the gym pool and sauna was great. The bar and meals were excellent along with the staff.
Disliked: The room walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from the guest next door. That’s the only negative point which could be fixed.

Liked: Good views from the dining room, good gym free for guests to use.
Disliked: Room very small and tired looking, tops of cupboards with water marks and mug stains. Only 3 hangers supplied on the hanging rail. Poor quality selection on breakfast bar although cooked breakfast was ok. Some staff not very helpful.

Nice for a cheap one...

Liked: The setting was lovely and the leisure facility was a bonus although looks tired and needs a spruce up. The location was fairly good and only 20 mins by car to Norwich. The bathroom in our standard room had been upgraded and we were pleased that was the best bit of our room.
Disliked: The corridors to the main hotel and reception are tired looking and need a re vamp. The corridors and dark wood doors reminded me of staying in dorms as a child. We had a twin room, I found the bed not supportive and quite bouncy. The TV was tiny and quite far from the bed meaning it was difficult to see and enjoy. We agreed it wasn't the best breakfast either of us had, it was clear the food was the cheaper end of the scale which was a real shame but for the price being competitive you have to except that it will be pretty average.
