Liked: Our rooms were very nice and we had a great location near the pool and pickle ball courts.
Disliked: Nothing

Family trip

Liked: My family and I flew out from North Carolina to attend my brother's wedding in Fallbrook. This resort was on their recommended places to stay and I'm so glad it was. From start to finish it was an absolute amazing experience staying at the Welk. Check in was fast and easy with very friendly service. The room was clean, a great size, had a nice balcony, and good amenities.
Disliked: I do wish the kitchen was a little more stocked with a knife set and scissors. The shower head in the bathroom was very dated and seemed out of place for such a lovely room. All the buildings look the same so it's very easy to get lost, especially at night.

Great find for a luxury...

Liked: Gym was stacked with the latest of every possible kind of equipment, comparable to a 24-Hour Fitness but more well-maintained! While there weren't free weights, having a Smith machine for bench press was good enough. I was able to hit all the muscle groups in a very detailed manner. The climbing wall was a nice addition. Beats the typical hotel gym that has a treadmill and some dumbbells.
Disliked: Even though the facilities were clean, the 1-bedroom 1-bath was structured very awkwardly. To go to the bedroom, you'd have to pass through the bathroom, which can get a little awkward if someone is using the bathroom. The sliding door in the closet, while it looks clean and unbroken, did not seem to be on its rails, so that door was unmovable when it should have been movable.

Superb

Liked: Large 2 bedroom villa, very accommodating with bedrooms on the sides and main living area and kitchen in the middle. Glad we had a washer and dryer inside the property too. And the fitness centers and rec centers were a great amenity that we took advantage of.
Disliked: We didn't like that there were no windows that could open in the bathroom, it felt stuffy a lot since we had the heat on when it got colder in the morning and night. One of the hair conditioner bottles was nearly empty but we managed with the other one in the other bathroom. Kept forgetting to ask housekeeping about that during the stay.

Definitely will go back and...

Liked: The grounds were exceptional. The views of the mountains that surround the property was breathtaking. There was so many amenities, it is a true resort.
Disliked: The exterior of the buildings need some upkeep. Our room had a odd smell for the 1st day of our stay. Not sure if it was the cleaning products that were used but it was weird.

Relaxing and memorable spot we...

Liked: This place was great! The staff was friendly and there was so much for the kids to do. This was truly a nice relaxing vacation spot.
Disliked: I walked into the gift shop to ask a question and the girl at the register was on hold but before I could ask my question she said we’re closing in just a minute and turned around. Super rude but other than her we absolutely loved the place.

Exceptional

Overall it was nice.

Liked: Room was well stocked and comfy.
Disliked: The faucet was leaking in the tub would of liked to have them fix bed daily and remove trash. Also, when requested some items to be delivered it took a while to receive had to call a couple of times and front desk phone kept ringing had to wait for someone to answer.

Disliked: It was so overwhelming to find my room. I got really stressed out and it ruined the trip. I couldn’t find the room that property is so large and there wasn’t anyone there to guide me
