Evening three: forced out by...

Disliked: Herr Olinger came barging into our room.My young son and myself wanted to step outside but he insisted to stay in the ‘private space’ of our room.We were never given the two double rooms as booked in the advertisement.We were still waiting and asking for a solution, which was promised on arrival.  Herr Olinger, showed me several mistakes in their advertisements, therefore a known problem to them.I got a copy of our two double rooms booked , but still he was blaming us for wrong doing ?!He forced me several times to apologize, which at first I did.I should be understanding, even be grateful ?!Then he wanted to charge us for the temporary single bed as an extra ?!Naturally we refused but then he said: he'd kick us out if we didn’t pay. Twenty minutes into this strong conversation.He didn’t look like he was going to ease off at all.Still walking around in our room angrily and intimidating.We refused again to pay for an extra we never got.Then he gave us one minute to pack our bags and go !While still being in the room, he grabbed the keys and said I wouldn’t get my racing bike back from the locker room unless I paid for the extra bed.Then, I shouted so loud, the whole pool area could hear: ‘to call the police immediately’, and he cooled down.Still watching us, while we packed in a rush, now we are already noticing some items missing, like my son’s braces.Three hellish days, super stressed, out on the street and nowhere to go.

Liked: Spacious, comfortable and great location. Cool in the heat, well equipped.
Disliked: Nothing

Very comfortable and stylish apartment

Liked: Beautifully appointed with high quality fittings, exactly as pictured. Think the owners have worked to create the apartments in the way they would like to experience when travelling.
Disliked: Not a thing - would definitely stay again.

Liked: Apartment was light, airy and spacious - good selection of wines provided.
Disliked: Driving electric vehicle and chose accommodation noting EV charging available. A little frustrating then that the parking was on a first come first served basis; it was not possible to reserve a designated EV charging space; and the one directly adjacent to our apartment was always taken by an ICE car when we returned at end of day. Owners were friendly and accommodating enabling charging when needed - but this meant more negotiation and shuffling of cars than might be necessary when you ideally just want to park, plug in car and leave overnight whilst you go and do something else. Not a disaster (there's an Ionity fast charging station not too far away - which we used in preference when passing to top up): but suggest that this is something that could be better managed on site (and in our experience was elsewhere).

Quiet, intimate location with great overall facilities and comfort

Liked: It was great to have an apartment close to the pool which is small but has a nice view. The aparthotel only has 10 appartments so it is quiet - great to relax. The wine in the room is really good! Appreciated the complementary mineral water bottles as well. The appartments have floor cooling, which was great with 30+ degrees outside.
Disliked: If you want to explore the main sights of the Mosel region, they are more to the north so then it is better to choose accomodation a bit more north.

Ebike hire at the hotel 49 per day. The bikes are automatic transmission and require minimum effort going up hills
Disliked: No lift, so everything had to go up 3 flights of stairs
