Great location and quirky hotel....

Liked: Location is great, close to beach, shops and restaurants. View across canal and golf course was wonderful. Quirky room.
Disliked: Checkin was very slow - with a huge queue. The process needs to be streamlined. They had all our details, the room had been prepaid, but it still took forever to check in. The same slow process occurred with all the people in the queue in front of us. The free welcome drink is a selected few drinks at the poolside bar only. Got caught and ordered drinks from the main bar as not all drink types at poolside bar, only to charged as they dont take free welcome drink tokens. Beware use them at poolside bar for cheap drinks only.

Comfortable, quiet hotel close to...

Liked: Staff friendly and helpful - very quick to resolve any issues we had. Hotel has quiet location near canal within very easy walking distance of the hustle and bustle of main Waikiki & its beach. Close to a bus stop on Route 20 from airport. Quirky and modern decor. Very clean. Our room had very comfortable bed & spacious balconies with views over golf course.
Disliked: Sound from adjoining rooms can be heard easily through interconnecting doors (we swapped rooms). Restaurant bar sometimes closes for drink orders earlier than advertised (we were unable to get a drink on returning to hotel one evening - final orders had been called before 9.40pm - the bar advertises as closing at 10pm. Breakfast was disappointing one day - stale crust end of bread loaf - returned dish then very fresh replacement received.

Liked: It was amazing super clean nice hotel and staff was excellent. Would love to stay there again.

perfect location just a step...

Liked: very nice, clean rooms with super comfortable beds. just a 3 minute walk to Waikiki Beach and International marketplace. there was a free beach chairs, towels and boogie boards were easy to carry to the beach. we ate breakfast twice, dinner once and happy hour appetizers once. all were delicious and generous portions. the pool, restaurant area is nicely done with a bar, towel stand, some lounge chairs and table seating.
Disliked: we wish the pool bar had better happy hour deals, especially for beer/wine drinkers. Since it was 1/2 off “Libations” we thought that would include one or two types of wine and/or beer but they only consider specialty drinks to be “libations- a little disappointing.
