Liked: The property was in a very good location right opposite the sea and walking distance to the center

Liked: This hotel was the cleanest I have been to in a very long time the staff were very pleasant on arrival if you are looking at staying in Torquay you could not go wrong by staying at this place was a facilities are more than adequate based on the price the clendingness is exceptional and it's location is very good as well as it's a fairly level walk into town not up and down all the hills for anybody wishing to stay in Torquay one of the best I have stayed at
Disliked: This property was very good if there were any notes to make it more memorable probably to offer a breakfast but that is the only thing

Pleasant take still needs work...

Liked: It was in a pretty good location but hard to park and dangerous to get out on the road
Disliked: That when you require a shower that you have to re ask as it has a bath and shower over the top. It was just a little disappointing but they helped out and it all went well. We just felt like we where an imposition nothing too upsetting as it was all dealt with

Great room, brilliant staff.

Liked: location is incredible. The owner noticed we had booked a twin but only because it was the last one left and asked if we would prefer a double. She gave us the most amazing room at the top with stunning views. What a lovely place and it didn’t smell of boiling cabbage and overcooked egg because they haven’t got the kitchen running.
Disliked: People see a two star and they think it’s about quality, it’s not, stars are based on facilities and services provided. Often a 2 star will outperform anything else because they aren’t stretched thin on staff manning the skanky pool or the sad, wilted salad bar that no one asked for. This place is perfect: the rooms are brand new and stunning, the location unbeatable, and you’re surrounded by places to get great food so don’t worry!

Comfortable basic hotel with good...

Liked: Location of the hotel was good. There is a lovely view from a comfortable lounge area.
Disliked: Because of the laminate flooring in the bedrooms it made it very noisy people moving around on the floor above and generally noisy caries through the corridors. Beds are a little small.
