Located within easy access to all of Southern Tasmania's tourist attractions this property was fully refurbished in 2011 with new beds and carpeting. Waterfront Lodge offers clean comfortable and modern motel-style rooms featuring an LCD TV and wireless internet access. Most rooms offer a kitchenette with a microwave. Guests have access to a shared kitchen laundry facilities and free onsite parking. Basic breakfast packs are available for an additional charge of $10 per person per day on request. Affordable with parking on premises...

Liked: Affordable and quiet. Bed was pretty good, and the small mini fridge ran well.
Disliked: Hot water pressure was variable and affected by others using there water, so getting the temp right was frustrating. At least it didnt run out though!

Disliked: Far too few places to sit outside the room. 2 places only!Lacking charm for what is a good location

Liked: Good value for money
Disliked: The shower is mouldy - which management are unsuccessfully attempting to treat with strong bleach. The smell of the bleach in the room is overwhelming and nauseating. There are much better (and effective) ways to treat mould. Honestly, this needs reporting to Tasmanian regulators. Strongly recommend management address the mould issue.

Wonderful!

Liked: Great staff, good location back to Hobart CBD, close to Mona if you want to drive there instead of the ferry. They have a shared kitchen if you want to cook, rooms were nice, however could have been a bit cleaner
