Marvellous stay

Liked: Excellent location, beautifully decorated, small details care for in the room that made a nice touch, Jon and Julie were very friendly and attentive, allowed us to drop our bags early, breakfast was amazing,l with more options than a cafe.

Above and Beyond Expectations

Liked: Right from the start, I was met with a warm welcome from Jon. He told me I was getting a free upgrade to the Crow's Nest room. I was delighted!The room was warm, clean and very spacious! The bath was lovely and clean. The view of Kingswear across the River Dart was genuinely breathtaking. This is truly a hidden gem of a place.The highlight for me, though, was the breakfast! Just wow. One of the best hot chocolates I've had in recent memory. The poached eggs and smoked salmon with hollandaise sauce was delectable. Julie did an outstanding job with it. Freshly squeezed orange juice, warm croissant and more finished it off. 5 stars.
Disliked: The main thing I disliked was setting up the WiFi on the TV. It was a bit tedious and I think it should have been set up prior. However, it worked in the end and managed to get Netflix going.
