Liked: Location. Loved the balcony with table and chairs. Seemed clean as it smelled like bleach when we walked in. Nice coffee/tea options. Bathroom was spacious and shower insert updated
Disliked: The doors that connect two rooms allowed light and noise in from adjacent room. We had to put a towel at bottom of door to block the light. Acoustics are horrible. The family next to us was very loud. Kept us up till 2:00am. We could hear discussions from our neighbors and they weren’t yelling. The bar was closed for repair. The property seems very old, with a few updates.

Liked: Room was total adequate for our one night stay to visit the Jazz venue across the street for a New Years show. Jack London square clean and safe feeling. No homeless wandering. Easy in-out parking, check-in, elevator. Morning coffee near by. Perfect location for our short visit to Oakland
