Miserable experience

Disliked: Interesting building with history however hotel doesn’t provide anywhere the written story of it, i had to google it. Upon arrival no welcome wine/fruits/sweets. Only 1 homemade cookie (for 2 adults). The water in the shower changes its temperature from cold to very hot while you’re having your shower.The worst was the quality of cleaning. I had to complain 3 times and ask for a proper cleaning/vacuuming. They complimented me a bottle of wine to make up for me.My 2 souvenir cups that i bought on xmas market were stolen. After my complaint they brought them back. A few times i asked at the reception if they had small cookies or chocolates as a snack with tea/coffee, they always said - no. Breakfast in room for 30 euros was a joke. It’s not worth the money they ask for it. “Healthy start” breakfast features “smoothie” but they brought a juice instead that was squeezed a day before. Avocado toast on a square toast bread (not healthy kind of bread) with a thin layer of avocado spread on it. Orange juice was not fresh. I wish breakfast lwas included in the price especially on the days when everything is closed.

Liked: Beautifully renovated water tower with amazing views. The room was spacious and stylish and the staff were friendly and helpful. 10 minute walk to the Dom and easy to get to. Will definitely stay there again.

Liked: Beautiful very special historical building, very much worth staying there. Very good service at reception and the roof top bar. Breakfast and service there also great.
