I don't think is right...

Liked: I feel bad for the owner of this place and the people working here because is not a safe location. We had one of the most traumatic experiences in my life when my husband and I were woken up around 1:30 am by the shooting gun noises from one of the rooms above us. I think is right to communicate to travelers that this is not a safe place to stay despite the fact rooms are nicely decorated and the staff members were very polite.
Disliked: I made the terrible mistake in trusting booking.com reviews and pictures posted about this hotel without doing research about this location in Topeka, Kansas to late find out after the shooting that the criminal activity is very high in the area where this hotel is located.

Superb

Liked: Nice place, convenient, and very reasonable. Extra perk, cute little coffee shop downstairs that also offers a few beers.
Disliked: Trash wasn't empty, dishwasher was full, and floors needed vacuuming

Bad

Liked: Nothing, we were not allowed to stay due to being a Topeka resident. The hotel called before checking in saying they did not allow Topeka residents.
