Poor expensive for £65 won't...

Liked: Upon arrival first impressions were good. Welcoming reception nice chearfull staff
Disliked: However I was quickly Informed at reception that the evening meal menu was pre made microwave meals and that I should order take way food to eat in the bar. Looking at the food coming out they were not wrong.Room was very tired, 1 plug to use between bath and sink it didn't fit either well. Chunks of carpet missing and I would question weather the room had been cleaned properly from last guest. Hair in the bath and dirty carpet etcBreakfast was luke warm.Think they are using pictures on booking.com and their website from when it was good. Definitely not current standard.

A value for money option...

Liked: Ease of checking in and parking was easy! A good commutable distance to the NEC! A bit basic and the windows need changing - but with a pair of earplugs I slept very well!
Disliked: A bit of a draft in the room - and no lift which could be an issue for some!

Very basic … we stayed...

Liked: It was perfectly located for a break in our journey to Sheffield
Disliked: Lack of atmosphere … in need of some tlc. Seemed very quiet with one member of staff on reception and working the bar . Menu wasn’t great , portion looked small with no side dishes . Mainly curry, pasta dishes
