Disliked: I have no complaints with the room itself, however upon arrival we were asked if we wanted breakfast, to which I said yes and paid the £25 at reception. In the morning when we went down to breakfast at 9am, all of the hot food in the heated containers was cold, and the mushrooms, bacon, baked beans and eggs were all dried up and hard. I went to get a pastry instead but they were physically rock solid. I went to the reception desk with a pastry to show the staffed and banged it on the desk to show how hard it was. I also informed them that all of the hot food was cold and had gone hard and requested a refund. Staff told me that the food was temperature checked 20 minutes prior to us coming down. There was no offer of any fresh food and I was told that I couldn’t have a refund and that I needed to contact Oyo rooms. The lady proceeded to take all the pastries off of the buffet and throw them in the bin, after which we left with no food and no refund.I’m sure you can understand my frustration and I would like to be refunded for the £25 we paid as we received no help from staff and she was rather rude about it.
