Set on 2 acres of lovely gardens Warkworth Country House features free WiFi and rooms with a patio. Home to many species of native birds the property is 15 minutes' drive from the Matakana wine region. Free breakfast including continental full English gluten-free and vegetarian is provided daily. Warkworth House is 3 minutes' drive from shops and restaurants and 7 minutes' drive from Parry Kauri Park. It is 20 minutes' drive from Omaha. Goat Island is 30 minutes' drive away. All rooms offer a private entrance a TV electric blankets and tea/coffee making facilities. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower hairdryer and free toiletries. You can relax on the large communal patio deck which offers outdoor dining furniture. There are several hiking options and peaceful walking tracks surrounding the property.

Liked: Very comfortable room and bed, great shower ensuite, beautifully appointed. Home baking a real treat with friendly & hospitable hosts. Close to township in car, and museum & easy kauri bush walk.

Peaceful and relaxing stay

Liked: We absolutely loved staying here. The bed was so comfortable and it was so quiet. Breakfast was delicious and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Only regret was not staying longer.

It was well worth it...

Liked: Hidden gem, it was amazing with the room and comfort, the welcome was over and above as was the tray of home made treats, so yummy, the best was the breakfast which was tailor made to your requirements, a menu to choose from, the conversation was ever welcome and the hosts really made you feel at home, highly recommend and will definitely be back for more stays
Disliked: Everything was just perfect 100%
