Superb

Liked: Spacious Victorian-style room with firm mattress and adequate provision of toiletries. Location is good; just 15 min from the airport, wineries and Cataract Gorge. 5min drive to eateries and supermarket.
Disliked: My room was on the second floor. There is no lift. Had to get help to bring our luggage up several flights of steps.

Liked: Lovely big room, great modern shower, comfy bed and sheets and pillows, TV.
Disliked: No Microwave, a number of steps from the car park up to the hotel, light coming under the door at night.

Great place to stay in...

Liked: Very spacious and clean with all the amenities we needed.It is conveniently located close to amenities.
Disliked: Access into the building is via stairs only with no disability access. Additionally, the rooms on the higher levels are only accessible via staircase and there is no elevator in the accommodation. Access would be quite challenging for guests with heavy bags or with physical difficulty preventing use of the staircase.

Exceptional

Liked: Lovely spacious room and a comfy bed. Such a grand old building.

Great short stay

Liked: A majestic updated house with so much history and charm. Loved the view, high ceilings and the bath.
