Such a beautiful cozy small...
Liked: Wanderstay Boutique Hotel exceeded all my expectations! The room was spotless, stylish, and so cozy — I didn’t want to leave the bed! It felt like a peaceful retreat right in the city. The East End neighborhood is vibrant and full of character, with amazing food, coffee shops, and art around every corner. I felt safe and right at home. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Houston!

Hidden Gem in Houston
Liked: I absolutely loved my stay at Wanderstay Boutique Hotel! The room was incredibly comfortable — the bed felt like a cloud, and every little detail made it feel cozy and welcoming. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design and vibe. The neighborhood is also fantastic — super walkable with cool restaurants, bars, and local spots just steps away. It’s the perfect place to relax and still be in the middle of all the action. Can’t wait to come back!

Liked: Great stay and loved that atmosphere!
Disliked: The construction on the road but that was no fault of their own.

The place has the potential...
Liked: The lobby decor was great. Loved the atmosphere they were trying to create. I felt safe staying there with the gate code, door code and room code. The bed was really comfortable along with the rain shower head.
Disliked: Sadly most everything could have been better. Checking in the desk attendant was on her phone the entire time, significant language barrier. I did not get the room I thought I booked. She wanted $100 more to upgrade. The room was very very small. It needed upkeep, lots of paint scratches, tape peeling, way too much mold in the shower and around it. The sink wouldn't drain, I pulled the plug out and it was clogged with matted hair and gunk. No closet just a clothing rack right in front of the door. The neighbors were never loud but you could hear them way too easily. Not sure why we had to have the room next to the only other guest. Had no idea check out was at 10am. She could have mentioned that. When my husband went to get coffee first thing in the morning it was ice cold. There was cereal on the counter but nothing else, no milk, creamer, nothing. The kitchen is meant to be shared which is very odd to trust strangers to stay out of your things. While my husband was getting coffee she mentioned we were past check out time. We flew into a mad rush to clear out only to be told we are 30 min past check out so we would be charged $15 for a late check out. She could have offered that and we wouldn't have had to rush since we were basically paying for another hour. We were told everything we needed to know was in the book in the room. Nothing about that was included. There is no staff after 8pm. That does not seem like a great or safe idea. We were told she was leaving but no other advice on who to contact if there was an emergency, locked out, etc.
