Liked: Easy parking, location and near to the town center.
Disliked: Room is full of cobwebs and dusty. The shower head is leaking and was only tied with plastic strip.

Liked: The beds were comfortable, instant hot water in the shower, parking right out front, good size rooms for a family, adequate kitchen supplies for basic family breakfast or snacks.
Disliked: There was a bit of a constant musky smell in the room but not intolerable. A bit of noise from other guests coming and going but you get that at any motel anywhere.

Liked: Great location, you can walk to, anywhere in town from there.Although the site is a little bit dated. It was clean, tidy, comfortable and great value. It has a pub right next door and a small Cafe on the other side.

Handy location but a bit...

Liked: The location was good. Not far out of Mudgee. The check in process was quick and very friendly. The room was quite big and there was a table and chairs for in-room dining. There was a full-length mirror which is unusual and very handy and plenty of hanging space with hangers. The bed was comfortable and the fridge quiet! The lights near the bed were good for reading and in easy reach to turn off. There was an ample supply of tea and coffee as well as cutlery etc, and a small microwave, toaster and kettle.The hotel next door (The Courthouse Hotel) was recommended for a meal and it was excellent...great food and friendly service.
Disliked: The room allocated was upstairs. There didn't seem to be any ramp so I had to carry the suitcase up the two lots of stairs. The room was right on the corner near the stairs, so it was quite noisy, as everyone had to come up the stairs and walk past my room to get to theirs. Made it difficult to have the curtains open, so needed to have the lights on. The bathroom appeared to have had a bit of a makeover. The cistern was new and the shower recess was quite roomy but with an old shower head and a shower curtain. There was no fan or heating (would be cold on a Mudgee winter morning!). There was no hairdryer. While I didn't wany anything from the vending machine, others would have been disappointed as it had an "Out of Order" sign on it. The rubbish bins nearby were full.
