The staff were brilliant; the room was clean and spacious enough for two. My daughter, whose birthday it was, was very impressed by her weekend. Many thanks to everyone.
Liked: Wonderful, professional and courteous. what more can I say. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Disappointing.

Disliked: The staff did not help with bags as I struggled in. The reception staff were focused on other things and the welcome was not great.

very underwhelming

Disliked: check in was supposed to be 3pm. room was not ready until 4:30pm. checked bags into the baggage reception. I asked if they would be put into our room and they said they might be ... upon reaching room they were not. had to call down 2 times and eventually they brought them up. I requested champagne to be ready in the room for special birthday during in person pre-check in and was not done. had to call twice from the room before the eventually brought up. shower gell empty in the shower. dinner service at the homage was extremely slow. asked if we could sit at a table of 2 as were seated at a 4. instantly said no and said all the tables reserved.probably 10-15 tables empty and remained empty entire evening. clearly they just couldn't be bothered to move us. we just moved ourselves in the end. homage staff had dinner at the table opposite.. asked if we could take our deserts to go. they said no you cannot do that. I said I can see the take out boxes in the table and he then said ok go on then. I asked reception loby if they could order a taxi. I was asked to go speak to the bagge reception. they then asked to speak to the guy on the door. then the guy on the door said just go and wave one down. nobody appears to have a good grasp on what is going on. perhaps to many rooms and not enough staff. for the price of the room and champagne very underwhelming stay. was looking forward to visiting the monkey cocktail bar on the Sunday and it was closed and not open on Sundays... would have been nice if they told us this when we checked in...when I paid up room service they just asked to pay the balance. most hotels would give you a print out of what you have to pay for. they said we don't to that... I said I would like to see and check. he said ok I will print out for you. will not be returning and not recommending the hotel.

Amazing from start to finish!
Liked: On arrival, we were warmly greeted out of our taxi and taken to reception. Ruth was outstanding; her friendliness and professionalism made us feel welcomed and is a credit to the hotel. Ruth spoke with her manager, and we were fortunate enough to get upgraded and it blew us away. Thank you so much!We enjoyed champagne and canapés during happy hour, and breakfast the next morning was delicious.
