Over priced hotel would not...

Liked: The close proximity to great walkable shopping and dining.
Disliked: Room phone never worked, made it impossible to use room service. They moved us to a new room where the heat didn’t work! A repair man had to enter our room in order to fix. Very inconvenient, nothing was offered for said inconvenience.

Liked: Very easy to communicate with staff before and during our stay
Disliked: Could not get reservations to on sight restaurant.

Everything was wonderful other than...

Liked: We got an upgrade on the room without adding money, the room was great the view and amenities, staff and housekeeping did a great job.the Nespresso machine was a bonus and served us well, the property is beautiful and smells really good!
Disliked: We ordered room service and it was a big disappointment, the pasta was dry and chewy, the chicken Brest came with the skin and was undercooked.We were planning to go to dinner in the hotel, but the room service made us to cancel.

Sumptuous Suites & Great Location...

Liked: A wonderful location for shopping and sightseeing. Well appointed, incredibly large & comfortable rooms. Friendly, professional staff.
Disliked: Key cards failed multiple times and had to be replaced. Breakfast was expensive.

Hospitality non existent but nice...

Liked: Suite was beautiful and breakfast was amazing. Plus for Aesop products.
Disliked: When spending $800 a night, there was not much actual service provided. Things were slow, not thought of. We had put the clean room light on before we left for dinner for multiple hours and came back to nothing done. Ordered food and instead of leading the uber eats driver up to the room, they waited 20 minutes to bring me my order. Husband wanted to surprise me due to some recent news and they did nothing except say something (and ruin the surprise) when I was checking in.. very odd communication. Overall, for the price I would have paid maybe $300 a night. Will definitely stay at the Peninsula next time.
