Great location, good value, very...

Liked: Excellent location close to various public transport and easy to walk to lots of things too! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very friendly and sociable hostel - both other travellers and staff are lovely and chatty. Plenty of social events.
Disliked: Kitchen is a little small for the number of people but I feel like this is a universal problem in most hostels.

Liked: The location was fantastic and the staff so friendly. Lots of events to meet people and you are never short of something to do.
Disliked: The beds were not hugely comfortable and there was a lack of outdoor social spaces to sit, asides from the cafe. However there were plentiful indoor spaces to sit- the kitchen and reception for example.

Liked: Location - very close to Central Rail Station
Disliked: Room was extremely small. Bed was double. Bed was uncomfortable with the only quilt or blanket was a thin quilt which barely covered the bed. There was not even a glass to have some water. There was no jug or tea/coffee making facilities.The bedside light did not work. I had to ask the staff to turn down the air conditioner which was for the entire floor and took an hour to change. Otherwise you froze and only had the thin quilt as a cover. I realise that this is predominantly a "backpacker's" hotel, but we still paid in excess of $300 for the room. I will never stay here again.
