Peaceful stay.

Liked: Pleasant staff, good food at dinner.
Disliked: Rooms very tired and dated but being upgraded in the near future. No TV signal. Hairdryer very poor and old. Limited choice dinner menu if wanting good basic choice rather than unusual dishes.

Disliked: Food could have been much better!! Evening meal was just warm, breakfast was like a truckstop.. mushroom dripping in oil, soggy/oily hash brown, tomato wasn't edible,, full of oil, scrambled egg was half runny.

Disliked: There was a lot of renovation work being done which wasn’t stated when we booked. Room was very outdated and old. View from window was a skip and rubbish. Am sure it will look brilliant when the renovation has been done

A lovely hotel which is...

Liked: Excellent location, comfy four-poster bed and lovely bar area.
Disliked: Nothing really. The hotel is a little dated in places but work is in progress.
