Overpriced! Mandatory charges of $40...

Liked: Can park for free across the street
Disliked: Too many things:1. Mandatory charge of $40 for welcome drinks, WiFi, cultural classes, tennis courts, none of which would be charged in other hotels and it doesn’t include parking fee. You need to pay $35 for parking. Plus, you need to go downstairs to the restaurant to redeem your welcome drinks while such drinks come when you check in in other hotels.2. Overpriced! Cost even more than Westin (over $500 with the mandatory charges) but not on the same level at all! 3. Sound proof is shitty. Can hear all the noises outside!4. Ice maker is too far away from room! Takes 5min to walk to ice maker.5. No kettle in the room, which is available in other hotels as well.6. Room is small and no separate shower. Plus, there was a huge mosquito in the room.

Probably will not stay there...

Liked: Not very much at all except for the friendliness of the staff.
Disliked: It was unexpectedly set up as more like a time share. Waiting 30 minutes to be seated for a continental breakfast to feed yourself from a buffet (and wait for coffee) was not enjoyable while on vacation. Plus, all dining options close at 9 PM, including in-room dining. That’s not very accommodating at a resort property.

Liked: The location is nice but it is just a giant resort upon shopping malls and aside from the beautiful fish ponds it is not authentic Hawaii, we enjoyed staying in Kona more. The property is pretty and the rooms are nice, the breakfast to go place is very nice
Disliked: This property charged us twice and put us into debt overdraft… the staff all told us different things about what would happen when charging our card and none of it was accurate. They also took multiple large charges on our card daily without even telling us at check in or at any point!!! Other hotels either take the money at the start or at the end simple, this will charge you over 400 dollars per day but not tell you… wouldn’t stay here again. Balcony tiny, food service took way too long, busy busy packed resort kids everywhere pools way smaller than they look online and not many sunbeds they need less capacity. Balcony tiny and unusable with a wall in the way

An amazing location, great hotel,...

Liked: Perfect location, great infrastructure, amazingly beautiful.
Disliked: Check in experience was terrible. They blamed Booking for an “error” on reservation (clearly there was no error as confirmation stated four guests) and had a room for two for me. When confronted, no proper solution was given (they wanted to give us a modified “accessible” room, and thus I had to pay extra for an upgrade.
