TA-208-436-2240-01#HONOLULU# Welcome to Waikiki Beachside Hostel! We are located just a few minutes' walk away from Waikiki Beach on the south shore of Oahu, Hawaii. We are close to Diamond Head Crater, famous Waikiki surf breaks, and loads of bars, restaurants, and nightlife. We are designed and catered to ONLY travelers who are over the age of 18 and fully capable of climbing up 4 flights of stairs. We are known for our excellent service, friendly staff, and our laid-back Hawaiian vibe. While Hawaii may be expensive, we're here to help as best we can for you to have an amazing experience while also sticking to your budget. In fact, while you're here with us feel free to enjoy some of the things we offer at your convenience, such as, free beach gear rentals (even games like cornhole, spike ball, and soccer), a local moped shop right next door, as well as, a communal kitchen and outdoor lounge for entertainment. We also offer complimentary: Wi-Fi; Tea and coffee; Linens (including one towel per guest upon request); Clothing irons; Blow dryers; Advice on local tours; and ensuite lockers in each dorm room (locks are available for purchase).

Very good

Liked: The location is prime, kitchens and bathrooms (in the women's doorm) were as clean as hostels get. The hostel has a huge variety of Snorkeling gear, beach stuff like parasols and mats, as well as surf boards that can just be taken free of charge and with no fuss at all. All in all, the staff were really chill and helpful even organised daily social things.
Disliked: The bunk beds are a bit wobbly and there isn't much cupboard space. The rooms are generally quite minimalistic, but I didn't feel like that was an issue since noone really spends a lot of time there

Absolutely lovely! I would definitely...

Liked: Amazing location, great staff, great people. I did 2 tours which was amazing. My room had its own kitchen. Definitely one of the best hostels I ever stayed at. I highly recommend it.

Therapeutic, insightful

Liked: Well it was chill. No headaches or bad vibes, cool activities. Coffee, good & some nights alcohol on the house, very friendly feeling
Disliked: Somebody stole my juice outta the fridge! Haha

Pleasant

Liked: Super location for the beach and all amenities. Hi5 tour operator offered free and heavily discounted day trips around the island.
Disliked: Didn’t seam super social and when I visited it was super male dominated. As a female, definitely book female dorms as my mixed dorm was all male.

I would not stay there...

Liked: Its really close to the bus stop and the beach. We had a balcony so good for the wet swimwearPro and con is the kitchen in the room. Nice that you don't have to walk that far and you have your food close.
Disliked: The beds are horrible, they make a sound as soon as you move the little finger. The mattress was okay. The con about the kitchen, when you cook it gets really hot in the room. There was no towel or sponge, even after we asked for it. No toaster or water heater. Very few utensils .Even though it said AC. There was a very old think at the window, but it was right in the face of the person sleeping on the upper bunk. Room A202.Only big light, no small reading lights
