Dated and disappointing. It’s not...

Disliked: Vet disappointed with what was meant to be a five star hotel. It’s actually just a W branded residence tacked onto another residence. Zero slippers or robe to be found in the room and when I called the “Anything Any Time” room service they still couldn’t provide slippers. Half the room was cold marble floor so this was pretty uncomfortable. On the third call I tried reception who were much more helpful (thank you Alejandra) - they finally managed to find the last pair of slippers in the place. Overall the “hotel” is very dated and nothing like the Ws that I’ve stayed at in other countries.

Disliked: This hotel is not suitable at all for business travelers who need calm, private spaces for business meetings.There were no lounge areas suitable for meetings, no bar or coffee bar open in the evening ; plastic cups in the coffee bar (yuk); spa access via a service staircase and a parking lot (simply weird and a bit spooky). Definitely not what would be expected from a 5*.

Disliked: The room was super dirty and after I required a change of room (which they did and even apologised about it), the new room was exactly the same, so we had to leave. Even the staff took photos of how dirty the room was. The curtains were torn as if a cat would have scratched them and the rest of the room was full of dust and grease (my son even fell twice because the floor was greasy), the windows and mirrors were splashed… a really disgusting and not worthy of $300+/night hotel tbh.
