Very good
Liked: Location is fine, walkable distance from Central Station, Tubalong Square/Darling Harbour and Paddy’s Market. Staff very friendly.
Disliked: Breakfast has very few options, even been warned that it is a continental breakfast. If you want a better coffee (Latte, Mocha etc) you have to pay.

A perfect place to stay...
Liked: The Vulcan Hotel was perfect for my solo work trip. I stayed in a Shoebox room which was little but perfect for one person and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and the service was great. One day my air con remote stopped working and it was fixed immediately. I had also had a few parcels shipped to the hotel before my stay, and the staff happily kept these safe for me until my arrival. The location was excellent, 5 minutes from Broadway mall with a supermarket, and 10 minutes from Darling Harbour. Despite being central it was very quiet, and I slept well every night. I would definitely stay again when next in Sydney.
Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: Very small rooms and loud construction outside. Price is experts I’ve for what you get. Single bed was small.

Coldplay weekend price?
Liked: Lovely crisp sheets. Nice to have a bath and the aircon was very efficient. Quaint original staircase if you don't want to take the lift. Very easy walk to darling harbour. Surprisingly quiet. I don't want this to sound like a negative review but there is some feedback for the hotel to consider.
Disliked: Came on a friend's recommendation and, at the price, expected more. The room was very small and smelled. The ceiling was grimy. We didn't have the included breakfast as we were told coffee would be extra. The nearby parking cost $90 for the two nights so the total cost was nearly $600 for 2 nights. Quite a sting
