It is located at the crossroads of main Victoria street and is in the center of the main hustle bustle happening precinct of Hamilton CBD. VR Hamilton offers boutique accommodations with free WiFi. VR Hamilton is located on the banks of the Waikato River just a 10-minute walk from the Hamilton Transport Center. It is within a 10-minute drive of Seddon Park and Waikato Stadium. You won't get a better...

Liked: Old fashioned hotel. Unfortunately modern fire safety meant they had to build fire walls enclosing the stairs case that spoilt the former grandeur of the hotel. New bed but some wear on carpet but more than compensated for in the competitive pricing for the room. Staff very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay there.
Disliked: Outside control of hotel but fire wall detracted from the building.

Comfortable and relaxing

Bad experience

Liked: Nothing to be honest.
Disliked: Everything, very noisy. Can't sleep at night. Loud music from opposite Maxico from 9pm till 3am everyday. Heritage building VR Hamilton, but very untidy. Did not like the toilet at all. Can't flush properly. Car park is very bad specially for SUV (big car). 2 days stay was very bad experience. Lift is very shakey n scary... Written for not more then 4 people, otherwise pay 2000$ each wow. Anyway, everyone has different views. This is my experience.
