Disliked: Junkies everywhere, room smelled and bed linen was disgusting. It's a dive motel that allows junkies to live there! Absolutely terrible!

Liked: Very good bathroom, all stuff available (towels, hairdryer etc)
Disliked: Blanket on the bed was little dirty

I had the worse experience...

Liked: The location was poor, in a run down part of Thunder Bay.
Disliked: The staff charged me an extra charge of $25. for my dog. I pay less at much nicer hotels. The worst thing was the owner or manm in charge refusal to help me with my wifi. He said do it yourself so I had no wifi for the evening.

Pleasant

Liked: The front desk was accommodating as we arrived late. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable.
Disliked: There were spider webs all over the railing going upstairs and on the ceiling outside.

Disliked: Buyer Beware!!!! The motel is unmanned after 11pm!!! Also they barely respond to messages and calls, forget about it. I arrived at 11:25pm (my bad, I didn’t read the small print), no one answered messages, calls, voicemail, etc. Had to book another hotel last minute. Very stressful after an 8 hr drive. Worst part, they do not honor their no-show/cancellation policy. I’m due a 50% refund. Crickets. Not only did they ghost me, they also ghosted customer service from Booking. Hotels and motels are a 24/7 operation…NOT AT VOYAGEUR HOTEL!! I even tried talking to them the next morning- they were very rude, and difficult. Literally the worst experience ever
