Very poor

Disliked: Looks like a fun place at first sight. But bar and kitchen staff need to step up their game if they wish to improve their first and last impression. It is simply not acceptable to wait 40min upon arrival and 30min upon departure on a supposedly quick toasti. And on top of that being scolded in public by the bar staff for having mentioned the issue. If I would be volkshotel I would rethink my hospitality and training policy and how you treat your overnight guests. Until this is solved you will unfortunatly not see us or our friends back.

Disliked: Those paper cups are awful. Why not sturdy, cheerful, hard plastic mugs?

Modern hotel with a great...

Liked: A big hotel close to the metro station with fantastic views and very quiet room. Funky decor and a great cafe and work space downstairs.
Disliked: We stayed in a quad room and the double bed was suspended above the two twin beds. It was fine for us but might be tricky to get into if you have mobility issues.

Liked: Very friendly staff. There is a great lounge downstairs to work or just to enjoy. Very close to a metro station, so you're in the city center in no time. The view of the city from the sixth floor was a great plus.
Disliked: Not having a door for the shower was unexpected. Not a big deal for us but I can see it been a problem for some.The shower was not the cleanest and could use some place to hang the towels
