Exceptional

Liked: Very nice boutique hotel. Onsite restaurant was very good quality food. Every staff member very friendly. Loved the refill water filtration machine.

Liked: Very smart hotel, recently refurbished. Great location. Hotel provided transport on request to downtown Sarasota and attractions which we made use of. Hotel shuttle bus drivers were very helpful and accommodating, picking up super promptly when requested. Large well appointed room with great facilities. Would stay there again without hesitation

Liked: The staff was kind ,the manager did her best to right the wrongs.The driver Jim was amazing patient very informative about the city and restaurants. Sarasota is a beautiful city.
Disliked: The cleanliness of the rooms,I was showed 5 rooms before choosing one that was clean but reaked of ciggarette smoke,on a mon smoking facility..rooms that are smoked in by visitors should be thoroughly deep cleaned removal and visitor should be charged extra for breaking the rules. I ended up having bad sinus issues due to the ciggarette smoke..I had to purchase meds just to try and feel better so that our trip wouldn't be completely ruined.

Poor emergency service

Liked: The staff were friendly and professional
Disliked: They are not properly prepared for emergencies. They don't have a generator, safety lights, or working telephone system during hurricane, power outage. I can barely walk and placed on the fourth floor during a hurricane when the power was lost. I couldn't get downstairs, contact anyone working at the hotel, and they didn't check on me..Will never stay there again. Ordeal caused a huge panic attack, and I was extremely hot for over 5 hours. Couldn't get air because widows don't open.
