Liked: Many thanks to the attentive and helpful staff, especially MJ!! The cleaning staff were excellent.
Disliked: Only issue was that the sheets didn't fit...too small bottom sheet.

Dumpster views and threats of...

Liked: Nice enough staff. Not far from beach.
Disliked: The name and the photos on Booking suggest wonderful sea views and beachfront location - but the view from my bedroom was of a dumpster and a car park, and the hotel is not on the seafront. I have never been told by a hotel or apartment to clean the dishes and take out the trash or be fined - here you’re threatened with a 60USD fine; and they have the temerity to suggest you might like to tip the maids!The hotel bugs you almost daily in the run up to your stay with requests and info which is tedious. It’s a pain to find the reception and a pain to access the hotel and room - no key card or key, just a number.

A wonderful place to stay...

Liked: The location is fantastic! I love the ability to take walks on the beach to start and end my day. The facilities are very nice, and the rooftop pool and view are a nice respite. Work-wise, I am very productive when I stay at Vistalmar. My room is quiet, and the internet connection is reliable. Visalmar is my go-to property when I am in town for business!
