An Interesting and comfortable theme...

Liked: A nice hotel! Unfortunately, the weather was cold, but we could see the outdoor area would have been nice to enjoy on a warmer day.

Quaint, cozy, met our needs...

Liked: Listen, we knew what we were getting when we booked this room. It felt like staying at a cabin- very basic, clean, pretty outdated but definitely spacious and cozy. The location was awesome to visit VC, but we stayed for a weekend event in Reno and it was awesome to get out of the crazy city and the short 30ish minute drive was totally worth it. Awesome little place.
Disliked: Not all of the shades/shutters worked very well and they were pretty dusty, so having to finagle them closed at night was a little messy, but not a big deal by any means.

Liked: The owners were friendly but never really around if you needed something. They did give their number if you needed to get a hold of them but definitely not the traditional hotel where there’s a front desk. The fridge did not work which was unfortunate!! Because it’s on the outside of town I feel they should have a bit more accommodations in the rooms. Water, a working fridge, ice, plastic utensils, paper plates, napkins, and maybe vending machine for extra toiletries.

Liked: Probably the cleanest motel room I've ever stayed at. Right down to the baseboards was clean. I will definitely return
