Short weekend away with my...

Liked: Beautiful setting , decor amazing.
Disliked: Nothing. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful facilities and the hotel itself is absolutely faultless.

Disliked: We arrived early and were told we couldn't get in because the room wasn't cleaned. We hadn't had any sleep since we left the states for the trip. I left something in my luggage so the staff brought me up to the room to get it. The bed was made and it was clean. They were going to call me when it was ready but never did. Feel like the company has a hard stance on check in. Our following hotel upgraded us, not sure why, and allowed us into our room early. Making our stay so much more pleasant.

Sleepless nights

Liked: DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP! The hotel is next to a nightclub, you can hear very loud music and even feel the bass in your room until 3-5 am on weekends. Lovely hotel bar - come for cocktails but sleep elsewhere. Especially given the price, not worth it at all. Edinburgh is a wonderful city with lots better options

Liked: Location is perfect for all the sites and restaurants/bars and staff are all cheerful
Disliked: If I had to put something it would only be when you are having a drink in the hotel some complimentary snacks would have been nice
