Perfect hotel to see Bilbao

Liked: Great location near the Guggenheim and downtown. The room was spacious and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a great selection and was excellent.

Liked: Great location, room was spacious and comfortable.
Disliked: We chose this hotel as they had car parking. We booked last minute while driving to Bilbao and requested a car park on when booking. When we arrived we were told they didn’t have space for our vehicle and we had to park in the public car park just down the road (which was €13 for the night/day - the hotel is €20). I later discovered that they had emailed me an hour before we arrived (which I didn’t see due to reception) asking for our car details to see if our vehicle would fit in their car park - it is lift operated, so if you have a larger vehicle you won’t fit. The receptionist was very rude about the whole process and very much talked down to us. It changed to daylight savings while we were there are they hadn’t considered this with our room access card, so we had to go back downstairs to reactivate our card to get into our room.
