Liked: I enjoyed the comfort of the room for the great value it has, the area it is nestled in is close to a lot of amenities that are great for someone coming from the city, the small town feel and already prepped coffee station were a great way to wake up

I should have slept in...

Liked: The location is handy to Trail.
Disliked: The carpets were as filthy as carpets can get. The entire upper floor reeked of tobacco smoke old and new. The bedding seemed clean and so did the towels thanks to chlorine bleach. Everything else ranged from dusty to really grimy. The bathroom sink drain had something growing in it. The taps were filthy and leaked. The electrical receptacles were hanging partially out of the walls. The water tasted very very strongly of chlorine. The rooms are all upstairs and the stairs are steep.I've stayed in a lot of budget motels in my life but this room was by far the worst ever. Don't go there.

Liked: I was travelling for work. Lots of parking for my truck and it was very safe for my work tools. This small community is very friendly. My room was super clean and quiet, Awesome staff - very helpful. Good location halfway between Calgary and Vancouver. A great price and I had a nice sleep.
Disliked: Restaurant was closed.
