Liked: Nothing. The worst travel experience ever.
Disliked: Everything. This place was filthy, bug-ridden and staffed by thugs.

Clean, cheerful, cheap, safe place...
Liked: It was easy to find the Villager Lodge. It looked recently renovated and freshly painted. We parked outside could easily see vehicle from room, lots of parking space. The room was large, neat and clean. The gentleman at the front desk accommodated our request to stay on second rather than ground floor. Delivery of fresh towels was nice. There are picnic tables and a pool onsite. Motion sensor lights at night. Parking lot and outdoor areas were clean. The shower had great water pressure. I would stay there again in summer. Many places to eat close by and short drive to attractions. Public transit and Frescho (grocery store) near by!
Disliked: Minor, given one key for room but two adults staying. Would ask for another key if stay was longer than one night. No chain lock on our door.

Liked: I've been coming here for years, I highly recommend the heart-shaped jacuzzi if you're feeling a little bit freaky!
Disliked: How there's no channels or much on the television.

I never write reviews, but...
Liked: The parking area was very nice and close to the building. The beds were comfortable and the shower had fair pressure.
Disliked: There were many hidden fees, doubling the daily cost of our stay. We were under the assumption that the additional money was the security deposit that was mentioned in other reviews, but when we went to get the deposit back we learned that the costs were fees that were divided between days (service fees, etc.). The comforter had blood stains and did not seem clean, so we placed a cheap comforter over it and slept on top of the bed. Staff did not know how long we were staying and came into the room the first day of our stay to ask us to checkout. Staff let themselves into our room while we were there, under the assumption that they were cleaning after our stay. When we reached out after our stay about the deposit the staff answered the first message but when we tried to ask questions they did not respond back to us.
