Liked: Positives - clean room and bathroom, friendly helpful staff (we had to change room as the first was damp and they were very helpful with that, although they shouldn’t have put us in that room in the first place).Negatives - rooms quite dated, breakfast very average. Coffee/tea facilities in room/in evenings very limited. Overall I didn’t feel it was good value for what we paid.NB we didn’t use the pool so I can’t comment on that.

Liked: Check in was easy
Disliked: The family room was a small mattress pretty much on the floor in the corridor or a double room. The shower was poor (temperature control) and the pasta was pretty much cold at dinner (served buffet style to a group).

Disliked: We had some toiletries missing in the room. This issue was resolved within a few mins.

Pleasant

Liked: The hotel is good. The breakfast is ok. There are no restaurants around and the hotel restaurant is ok but one cannot go there every night. Staff were very good. However when I stayed there were large crowds of men. Two approached me suggestively in the corridor of my room. I quickly went into my room but they managed to bang on the door. I am sure nothing would’ve happened but it did make me very uncomfortable and I have decided to stay in the city.

Liked: Only stayed for one night but absolutely loved my experience, the pool was amazing, really enjoyed my food from the bar and the bed was incredibly comfy, thank you so much!
