Disliked: I booked double bed over booking.com which was confirmed, was then offered an upgrade online to a room with double bed by booking.com which I neglected, since that was my original booking - must have been a glitch...When I checked in the recepcionist did not understand English and the form provided for checkin was only in polish, not English, I asked to get the room for one night only. which was not noted. The next morning at checkout I had to pay for both prebooked nights although I left in the morning and was not happy with the room....considering the room downgrade and the early warning they should have waved the second night - and there was apparently a glitch with booking since I got twin beds instead of a double room which was however confirmed as such by my reservation...Room was fine - but tight, very small beds and overpriced for a rainy beach resort night in off season..

Disliked: The hotel tried to cheat / overcharge me in hidden and sneaky way. They may do the same with you, if you have a credit card from a country in the Euro-Area.The trick is that they do not charge the Zloty amount you agreed to in your booking.com booking. This zloty amount is usually charged to the credit card and than converted to Euro in your card. Instead, they charge a significantly higher Euro-amount. Significantly higher, but not extremely higher (around 5% higher). So you will do not notice it, unless you check your credit card charges. If you stay a couple of days, you will get ripped off by 50 to 100 Euros approximatelyI booked with a non-polish credit card, just fo the guarantee, payable at the hotel after arrival. However, already * before my arrival * I was charged an significantly higher amount.You will see on this rating site that a previous guest from Sweden warned also about cheating in this hotel. So I guess he was overcharged as well.I asked for a correction of the overcharging at the reception. They promised to do it, to reimburse the overcharging and charge the correct amount.However, nothing happened.After my stay i sent than an email to the Destigo Hotel headquarters and asked for a correction.Then they recharged me with the correct lower amount but did not reimburse the overcharged amount. So was charged twice now. I am honestly not sure whether this was due to an error or a brazen attempt to cheat even more. I immediately flagged this in another mail, and was finally reimbursed.Other issues: no room cleaning, only after reminder on the second day.The breakfast was great though.

Disappointing
Liked: Good location, very good breakfast!
Disliked: The situation was not standard , i could understand the sercumstances but not like administration resolved them. First of all , i asked for an earliest accupation for what i was charged , but sent to uncleaned room.It was first broblem. Room was with wet floor due to the window leaking from rain and smelling very bad in the heat. I informed stuff about it wehen they were trying to clean the room on urent basis.When i came back after some business meetings it was heavy rain ,the window was leaking , internet was abcent and there was not electricity in my room , i went downstairs in order to charge my phones and computer . than electricity dosappeared in a hotel in general. Again , i could understand this and i was waiting for they get it resolved . Finally , when i was getting asleep they offered me to relocate to the other place . I refused as i already was in a bed and was very tired with all things happened .Even in the morning nothing was resolved and i asked for compensation. Administrator declained this possibility.
