A lovely introduction to Bath!

Liked: Large airy room with a view over the park. Room very clean, no stains on carpet, chairs to sit on, desk with plenty of outlets. Parking right outside entrance. Milk for my tea came in a small jug NOT in a plastic container. Strong Internet and access to Netflix. Receptionists extremely friendly and carried our bags up to our room. Accommodation only a short walk to restaurants, shops, etc. Easy to exit to and from Bath by car.

Great location. Parking NOT included...

Liked: Staff helpful and friendly. Clean, large room (but disproportionately tiny bathroom). Great location for walking to the town. Great breakfast but ask for proper coffee from the machine which they happily accommodate if you like your coffee!
Disliked: BEWARE, parking here is £20 a day which wasn’t clearly advertised by Booking.com. Window shutters were opened/closed with a pole and some had become disconnected so you couldn’t close them properly. Door to the room wouldn’t open properly, the staff member had to unlock it with their master key, then we were given the dodgy one that he couldn’t get the door to open with! No lock on the bathroom door.

Liked: Lovely location and a beautiful hotel. Breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The shower room was beautiful, but even after a very short shower did get all of the bathroom floor wet (not just the shower area). Meaning you couldn't use the facilties without shoes or getting very wet socks! This is a very minor issue tho! The hotel was really lovely!

Great place to stay in...

Liked: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent quality with many options. The accommodation was luxurious and spacious, with high quality furnishings and spotlessly clean.
Disliked: Having to pay for parking.

Great location for a stay...

Liked: Location is great - quick walk to center of Bath and onsite parking which is rare. Ground floor room was very spacious with comfy beds and a small fridge. No problems getting non-feather duvet and pillows. Yummy breakfast and well stocked cocktail bar - great old fashioned. Really friendly staff. Nice, atmospheric alternative to sterile chain hotels.
Disliked: Fairly typical English plumbing and water pressure (which isn’t unique to the Roseate). Parking spaces were tight for modern cars, so leave the Bentley at home. That said, positives significantly outweigh these two points.
