Not staying NY ever again.

Liked: The property, room, staff & facilities very good.
Disliked: The restaurant dinner menu & price on NY eve was a complete surprise & a disappointment as it wasn’t mentioned anywhere when I booked room or restaurant. We were expecting the regular menu. The dinner cost over $500 with very little to no choice. We were planning on having your nice breakfast the next morning but left early & drove home for breakfast. Hard to convey my disappointment. Couldn’t get the tv to work either.

Liked: The views are amazing and honestly if it wasn’t for the incredible restaurant I would have been a bit overall disappointed in the experience. The in suite hot tub was great, never ran out of hot water. Although the suite was very clean, you could tell it had been worn down a bit.
Disliked: Our fireplace was not working , we had arranged to leave our room two days in a row for maintenance to evaluate , after both days guest services did not update us with a resolve. Also, on our third day we had to call for turn down service , the time frame that we had arranged was disregarded so our itinerary for the day was disrupted, again. There was no consideration for alternative options or any communication really about coordinating a resolution or even acknowledgment of our inconvenienced schedule.

Gorgeous view, excellent service, exceptional...

Liked: One of the most gorgeous views! The hotel is clean, updated, and includes top notch service. Our room had both a jacuzzi tub and a fireplace which made for a truly lovely experience and an exceptional value. The staff were very accommodating and gladly granted any of our requests. We stayed nearly 20 years ago for our tenth anniversary. It was lovely to visit again and see how it’s changed. We loved our time here. Breakfast at Alpina Restaurant was also delicious and the wait staff were friendly and superlatively attentive!
Disliked: Would have loved to have robes in our room. Unfortunately, they were not available. The bed, although reasonably comfortable, was a touch firm for my taste.

Disappointed quality vs level or...

Liked: Disappointed. No direct access between rooms, fitness and pool.For not a 4star but 3.Simple room, need management for design and furnitures, space but not thinking for nice stay for two. It's was for le a gift for Christmas. . Good food at. Restaurant. Too small bed for two people. I suggest buy a suite but expensive . Get there for the scenic view, not in winter. Below my expectations.That gives me a bad idea of rooms size on the great Victoria.
Disliked: Look old, maybe staff designated wrong room.
