Vienna Sporthotel is set in a quiet neighborhood in Vienna's 3rd district with easy access to the A4 and A23 motorways and only a 5-minute underground train ride from the city center offering an outdoor pool tennis courts and a spa area. Free WiFi is available and an underground car park with charging station for e-cars is featured. All spacious and air-conditioned rooms come with a mini-bar a work desk and flat-screen satellite TV with free pay TV channels. Vienna Sporthotel features a solar-heated outdoor pool (open from May to September) 10 tennis courts (also open from May to September) and a fitness center and guests can use all free of charge. The spa area is a good place to unwind after a busy day. The Sporthotel also has a restaurant serving international and Italian cuisine as well as a bar in the lobby. In nice weather guests can dine outside on the restaurant's terrace. The Schlachthausgasse Underground Station (line U3) can be reached in a 5-minute walk providing direct connections to the center. It is a 5-minute walk to the Media Quarter Marx and just a 2-minute walk to the TownTown Business Park. From April to October guests can rent motor scooters (Vespa) at the hotel. Guests who requested garage parking can use the e-car charging station free of charge.

Liked: Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean. Reasonably quiet, as in not disturbed by the dawn chorus of lavatories and doors slamming.
Disliked: A little jaded in places.

Good

Liked: For the price we paid the stay was worth it. Breakfast was fine. Hotel is 6 minutes walk from Schlachthausgasse metro station.
Disliked: We have travelled a lot. This is the first time we did not have a kettle in the room. Bed and pillows were to soft, it was like sleeping in a hammock.

Liked: The sauna area looked pretty good. And the gym wasn't huge but had all the basics especially if you were there alone.
Disliked: The breakfast wasn't great but standard fairnthkugh
