Nice well keep older place...
Liked: The front desk clerk is a very pleasant and helpful person. Location is close to city transit system, makes it convenient when traveling with luggage.
Disliked: Could use a bigger mirror, in the bathroom. I’m a tall person. All four pillows are overstuffed, a person with neck issues can’t use them. A good option would be two overstuffed and two regular pillows.

Awful
Liked: Location
Disliked: room was tiny, bathroom was cold as the shower had a window that did not close all the way. The sink was extremely slow to drain and it took a long time to get any hot water before the sink filled up to near overflowing. Tiny little soap bars that were no bigger than guest chocolates you find on your pillow at first class hotels The bed was hard and one of the most uncomfortable I've slept in. The room was more like one you find in hostels for $60/night. Will i stay there again? No

A really comfy, conveniently-located, good...
Liked: There was nothing to not like! Victoria’s Mansion is a beautiful old building converted into comfortable rooms. The customer service was brilliant - we got greeted and helped with our bags as soon as we stepped out of our taxi. It’s a great location too - just a few minutes away from a subway and plenty of eating options and bars down the road. The facilities in the room were really well-appreciated - the coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Everything you’d need and then some compared to other places!

Passable
Liked: Friendly staff and clean place. It’s also conveniently located and offers parking for $20 per day, which is well worth it.
Disliked: Our room was on the upper level under the roof so one can’t stand upright. Also, we had to turn on the ac when it was in the teens outside because the room was so hot. Room 23 is very small for a couple with only a full size bed.

Very good
Liked: Clean room and bathroom - it does have a slight bleach smell. There was also a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, plates etc available in the room. Great staff.
Disliked: 3rd floor room single bed with private bath had eaves, perfectly fine for a shorter person but a taller person may not be as comfortable.

Convenient to downtown
Liked: Good location. Close to train and Rexall drug for water . Plenty of restaurants. The double room was a walk up on 3rd floor with luggage and nice surprise it had its own bathroom., fridge and microwave with dish soap, mug, coffee maker. It has an extra fold out bed in addition to twin. That was very convenient. It would be a bit tight with 2 people due to slanted ceiling but it is doable. It was secure with 2 doors to enter the building . There seemed to be residents who lived there also.
Disliked: A bit small room but for 1 person it’s ok. Park nearby had some homeless but it was not on way to train station
