Liked: Fabulous location in the heart of the historic district and close to Lion’s bridge. Beautiful Victorian home that was clean and comfortable. Wonderful breakfasts and great staff!

Liked: the outside and common areas are beautiful, I enjoyed the balcony.
Disliked: the inside of my room was pretty dumpy. bed was lumpy, tub is very dated. it had been cleaned, but I didn't feel comfortable using it. the a/c has some kind of strong smelling air freshener in it, I had to turn it off and use the fan. the fan made loud clangy sounds. the tv is tiny and there is something wrong with the color. it made everything look like I was watching a vhs tape. the walls had been spackled, but not painted. everything just seemed shabby. all of the light bulbs in the room are cool white, like you are in an office or a hospital. the room does not reflect the romantic Victorian style of the exterior or the parlor.
