Perfect stay

Liked: Great location, kind staff, great pool area.

Superb

Liked: Lovely rooms, close to the ocean and a few blocks from the pier. Friendly staff. Loved the "free" (with mandatory resort fee) bikes for the beach path.
Disliked: The immediate surroundings are a little gritty, but that might just be Santa Monica.

Great hotel for the money...

Liked: Newly remodeled. Very nice design, and very nice rooms.
Disliked: Parking was expensive.

Our children were disappointed with...

Liked: Short walk to the beach. Breakfast staff were lovely.
Disliked: No sun on the pool most of the day - freezing. Room was tired and loads of flaws. Aircon door was falling down, chips and stains everywhere.

Great location, friendly staff and...

Liked: The location is wonderful and enjoyed the hotel aesthetic. I was extremely impressed with the staff and accommodations as most of us were evacuees from the Palisades Fire. They offered generous accommodations with additional support for our pets and inconveniences.
Disliked: The beds and pillows could be improved, but that could be a matter of goldilocks.

Disliked: Rooms were a bit on the small side and the ac was noisy at night.
