Great location and comfortable stay

Liked: This is in a great location, especially if you are arriving at Central Station as it is only about 10 minutes walk towards the CBD. We enjoyed the cafe/bar that was open on the ground floor, especially good on weekends when other cafes nearby were closed. We were fortunate to have a room on the top floor (Floor 9), although worth knowing that this floor has one flight of stairs to walk up as the lifts stop on Floor 8, so if you have a lot of heavy luggage staying that could be tricky. We had a great view down towards Central Station and the high floor muted the traffic noise a bit. Our room was very spacious and the bed comfortable.
Disliked: The shower had low pressure and there was a spa bath that wasn’t usable as the overflow was oddly just a couple of inches from the floor so it couldn’t actually fill up. Prices on weekends are high, although this is the same at other hotels in the CBD.

Liked: Didn’t have the breakfast. Had dinner . It was very nice .
Disliked: Had to ask for extra cups and coffee as 3 people booked in, but catered for 2. All bought efficiently by house keeping though so no issue. Loud construction noise on check out was concerning but didn’t affect our stay as a Sunday night.

Liked: Location was good right near the train station with a short walk. Reception area of the hotel was nice.
Disliked: The room was very run down, had to change rooms after the first night due to a broken tap. The new room had no shower pressure and the taps were leaking. Didn’t feel clean.
