BEST hostel in Miami!!!

Liked: Even though I have a few suggestions for improvement, I still give this place a 10. I can’t say enough good things about Viajero. I travel often and I’ve stayed in lots of hostels in different cities and countries. Viajero is hands down one of the best I’ve ever been to. With this being a budget friendly option, you really get a bang for your buck. The location is amazing. You’re right in the middle of everything SOBE has to offer and steps away from the beach itself. You can literally walk less than 5 minutes for almost anything you might need. The hostel itself is soooo pretty and cute with a saucy Latin vibe, I love it when you walk in to reggaeton bumping. Even though there’s somewhat of a party feel downstairs, the rooms are quiet and peaceful. Being in the shared room felt like being in a luxury hotel accommodation and that’s unheard of for hostels!The beds were so comfortable and the shower is nice with a glass door. Staff was respectful and helpful as well. I really enjoyed my stay here and intend to stay here again on one of my many escapes to the 305!
Disliked: Have someone clean the pool or have a net nearby so guests can clean it out before use. Leaves getting in is understandable but I saw napkins and lids from cups in there so I did not use the pool. The tiki bar and pool makes this hostel top notch! Keeping it clean would make that little area so much more chill. Also…it would be nice if they would leave cleaning supplies and extra toilet paper in the guest rooms. Housekeeping is not always available for accidents or needing more toilet paper. Lastly, please consider a mini fridge and microwave in shared rooms or at least one in the common area. Many hostels have a kitchen area and this place not having one was a little disappointing…but didn’t put a damper on my experience at all!
