Don’t get what you pay...

Liked: Front desk man was very nice and helpful with all the things we needed and we cleaned everything up that should have been done before our stay.
Disliked: Not very clean and not maintained at all. Lampshades missing and lamp holders falling off. Electric sockets missing faceplates and unsafe wiring. Sink missing drain screen and spraying screen on faucet so water shoots out all over. Shower lacked pressure and the spout stuck on so nothing but shower water and corrosion. Every corner has cobwebs and dust all over the place. Pool torn up and no vending or atm. Don’t give up your towels or sheets unless you get replacements first, they don’t come right back as they say they will. Firemen came to say our detector was going off but didn’t make a noise and no fire so…..?

Vernon Motel or BATES Motel?

Liked: Check in was very easy.
Disliked: I would NEVER take my wife or daughter here to stay. It is mostly a weigh station for Section 8 housing. The half disassembled cars in there parking lot, the abundance of oxygen bottles for invalids, the place stunk like cigarettes, weed, body odor, and that which cannot yet be defined. The room was an absolute abomination. Multiple burn marks in the carpet, the comforter, the sheets, the seat cushions, the curtains, other things I must be forgetting. (Thank God!)Fridge didn't work. Microwave was disgusting. Each time I returned to the room after being out, it smelled more like a frat house each time. I get that it's a bargain type of place but Christ! For me to stay there alone is one thing, but come on! They did quickly fix the TV when I asked. Avoid at all costs unless this is where your budget lands.
