Exceptional

I would recommend this hotel...

Liked: I was early and was able to drop my bag so it was more convenient to explore Porto. The location was centrally located and easy for me to find the Camino route the next morning.
Disliked: My experience was without any issues. This was a bit on the pricey side but it was a good place for me to sleep off some of my jetlag.

Hotel is an excellent location....

Liked: Excellent location in the main town square.Breakfast was ok, the restaurant location has a good view of Porto as its located on the 9th floor.
Disliked: Beds could have been a little more comfortable.

Liked: Great hotel in a great location. Spotlessly clean, excellent staff at reception and breakfast room, especially Phillipa who gave us excellent information and guidance, couldn't have been more helpful, she must love her job as she was so pleasent. Good breakfast, had everything you need. Room was clean and quite for a good sleep in the centre of Porto. All tourist sites within walking distance of the hotel. Great hotel would highly recommend it.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike. Previous reviews referred to worn carpet didn't effect us as you don't sleep on the carpet. If you want 5star then pay accordingly.

Ok for short stay for...

Liked: Friendly staff, good location, clean sheets, good air conditioning/heating.
Disliked: Furniture a bit old, like the 80s.Toilet is clean and hygienic, still usable but comes with some defects like toilet seat not bolted to floor, shower gel and shampoo holder not functioning, shower screen door silicon seal hanging midway resulting in water seeping out to floor when showering.
