Liked: Best location on Venice Beach. Complementary beach cruisers and skateboards meant we were on our way. Food court in front of hotel had delicious food.

A fun spot to spend...

Liked: Loved the historic hotel and our bungalow they looked out onto the beach on the penthouse floor. The staff was so attentive and courteous. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower head was lovely and the water was hot. I really enjoyed the coffee shop in the morning that is part of the hotel.
Disliked: Nothing

By the ocean but overall...

Liked: Proximity to the ocean. Aesop toiletries. Bicycles available for hire. Staff were pleasant.
Disliked: The main problem was that my friend and I felt unsafe in the area outside the hotel, especially at night and early in the morning, which defeated the purpose of staying somewhere by the ocean. There were several mentally unstable homeless people in the proximity of the hotel, walking around and yelling. Very sad. The hotel has limited services, no bar, no food available. My room was not cleaned on one day. The size of the room was small, not enough space to open my suitcase and hang clothes. The double bed was small. Frankly, the look and feel of the room was not as nice as it seemed on the website. I could hear people in the room above walking around.I think it was too expensive for what it offered.

Disliked: Room photos are not correct, we stayed in a very old fashined PH room instead of modern looking as the photos, we stayed 4 nights, room cleaned only once
