Castle but not a castle...

Disliked: The castle is managed by a huge business hotel owner van der valk. As result there is no personal care and welcome. We missed the historic ambience which was the main reason we picked this castle. Staff were not trained and not interested in engaging into any guest requests. The hotel was understaffed resulting in long waiting times to get a simple drink. If you want a castle experience don't book this venue.

Disliked: I think the price is high for what is basically an average to nice hotel room. The restaurant service wasn’t great, a bit slow. The value of the prefix menu is horrible. The food is microscopic. I literally thought they were giving me appetizers and at the end I found out it was the whole meal. All things like one or two bites. Would never do that again. If you eat dinner order ala carte and the breakfast was laughable.
