Good

Liked: National parks are surrounding the hotel, very beautiful and silent. Room is clean, lobby and restraunt are nice. Breakfast is good.
Disliked: When i felt the room heating is not enough 3 hours after check-in, i called the reception to ask if possible to change a room for me. The lady came and checked my room...seemed no patience at all. She brought me a fan heater afterwards by knocking the door rudely and let me to wait for another hour. One hour later, she had already left. That was Christmas eve, however, i can understand. After all, i noticed that i had caught a fever when check-in.

Disappointing

Disliked: staff are not enthuisiastic. We don't feel we are welcomed. The room was arranged at the entrance of the corridor, very noisy.

Convenient for my conference needs

Liked: Nice place and location, they checked me in early, comfortable spacious room, very quiet for most part. Great breakfast.
Disliked: Something to improve is the door to the room, I could hear the people walking talking loud when passing my room which was annoying. I would have preferred double bed than two very narrow beds. It felt too warm in my room.

Best location for A12 access

Liked: This is a fine Van der Valk branch located conveniently near A12. We will definitely pick this location compared to Duiven.

Beware of extra charges, and...

Liked: Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had good choices. Location was convenient for the place I had to go, although it’s not easy to get to by public transport.
Disliked: I booked the room including breakfast, but when I checked in, I was told it was not included and had to pay. When I found out the email stating ‘including breakfast’ the hotel did refund the money, but no apology was given. There was hardly any amenity in the room. There was no box of tissues anywhere; there was no body soap or shampoo near the bath tub, and although they were in the separate shower booth, they were locked so they couldn’t be taken to the bath tub.
