Liked: Such clean rooms! I will be traveling a lot to Redding in the next few months and I intend to stay here each time, if possible. It's easy to get in/out of the property. It's quiet there, too.
Disliked: I don't care for their pillows...too hard. However, that's a small issue, easily solved by bringing my own!

Liked: Towels good, heat worked, wifi good, tv good, price excellent! Parking great!
Disliked: Shower head plugged with mineral scale. Bathroom faucet hard to operate, needs replacing.

Very pleasant and clean place...

Liked: The room was so clean and smelled fresh when you opened the door! I really like that most rooms are ground floor and parking is right in front of your room. The lady who checked me in was so nice!
Disliked: I wish the actual lobby was open. Check-in is done at the night window only. It would also be more pleasant to either have coffee available in the room or lobby. Dutch Bros is located a block away, though!

Unwelcoming and inaccessible for anyone...

Liked: no breakfast, no welcome. good location
Disliked: the check-in process is awful. They closed the lobby during Covid and never reopened it. The little night window that they use is so low that a person of average height cannot see the person they are talking too. Frustrating and you feel totally unwelcome. I have stayed at this motel several times. sometimes I stood at at that window, waiting in triple digits temperature, sometimes in the cold and rain. There is no access for a disabled person, as the step up to that window is dangerously high. the disabled parking that I normally would use is at the other side if the property. and the ramp up to the sidewalk is consistently blocked by other parked cars. It is the most unwelcoming place I know. this is my reason not to come back.In the room the mat was so old that it's point was sticking up. Very dangerous for tripping. after a fall I tried to reach reception in the morning from the phone in my room. I called several times, but all I got was an answering machine.this place has good potential but it totally misses a human touch.
