Great place to stay when...
Liked: The motel is charming but modern, the room was exactly as described. Everything was very comfortable and clean, with all the room amenities as heating/AC, hairdryer, coffe maker and even small fridge with freezer (not your usual 1 foot tall minifridge). The bed was VERY comfortable which is great after a long day enjoying ther outdoors.I was really taken by the garden area in the middle, so welcoming!!Walking distance to the lake and very close to several eating spots, and extra close to Shaka Bluffs!I'll definitely come back next time I stay in the area.
Disliked: The water pressure in the shower could be better it was on the weaker side. I wish there was an extra pillow on the bed as I like to stack them and there were only 3 pillows for 2 of us but I did not reach out to request one was very tired and just fell asleep. The person that checked us in was very nice and I'm sure I could have gotten an extra pillow if I'd requested it!

Liked: Loved the communal outside area in the middle of the grounds. Lovely gazebos and seating areas.The decor and gardens were kept very well. The pool was a very welcome treat. The owners and staff were fab.Loved the location and being able to walk to the beach and dragon boat inn.
Disliked: We loved staying here, the only thing that would have made it perfect was having the TV in a place where you could watch it more comfortably i.e. not having to sit on the beds, ouyr cram the dining chairs into the gap between the beds.
